Itunu Ebijimi deejays under the alias, Petty, and formerly as The Wife of Wrath. Her DJ sets incorporate club music genres from urban centers across the African diaspora. Bouncing from Chicago Footwork and Jersey Club to Brazilian Baile Funk and Afropop, Ebijimi weaves a border-transcending narrative utilizing dynamic global sounds. She has deejayed in venues across Chicago (Smartbar/ Metro, The Promontory, Virgin’s Cerise Rooftop), as well as in San Francisco (The Stud) and and NYC (Moodring, Bossa Nova Civic Club).
